We thought being college classmates with a “who’s who” of future music industry luminaries and a 20 year career with stints as an A&R, artist manager and road management would prepare us for anything, but when the legendary Pete Rock requested we be his road manager for a Japan tour, everything fell into place….
Over a birthday dinner for De La Soul’s Merc in Tokyo alongside Pete Rock and The Pharcyde, we thought, what’s better than bringing together food, music, and friends? At that moment a light went off and we decided to launch Music is on the Menu as soon as we returned to Austin Texas. Ever since, we’ve strived to occupy the rarified place where the legacy of musicianship and the finest cuisine connect. Whether it’s a live concert event or an intimate dinner, for the last four years, Music is on the Menu has been bringing Austin only the choicest cuts. We’re just getting warmed up…
